Physiotherapist

My clinical interests center around working with sports injuries, with a particular focus on runners and helping them return to full function. I am passionate about understanding the unique demands of running, both in terms of mechanics and the physical stresses it places on the body. Whether it’s dealing with overuse injuries, like tendinopathies or stress fractures, or more acute issues such as sprains and strains, I enjoy developing individualised rehabilitation programs that prioritize not only recovery but also performance.

For me, the challenge and reward lie in helping runners get back to doing what they love—at their best. I take a comprehensive, evidence-based approach that includes biomechanical assessments, strength and flexibility training, injury prevention strategies, and a careful return-to-sport progression. I aim to optimize movement patterns, address any underlying weaknesses or imbalances, and enhance the resilience of the athlete’s body to prevent future injuries. Ultimately, my goal is to guide each runner back to full function, ensuring they return to their sport stronger, more capable, and less prone to reinjury.

With over 10 years of experience in both the NHS and private practice settings, I have had the privilege of working with a diverse range of patients, from everyday individuals managing musculoskeletal pain to elite athletes competing at a national level. This unique combination of environments has shaped my approach to physiotherapy, allowing me to provide personalized, evidence-based care tailored to each patient's needs.
